Gary Robert MacKenzie, 62, of Moncton, with his loving daughters at his side, passed away peacefully at the Dr. Georges- L. Dumont University Hospital Centre on Sunday, May 19, 2013. Born in Moncton, he was the son of the late John Robert and Freda (Collier) MacKenzie. Gary was a retired foreman with XYLEM formerly ITT Flygt with 33 years service. He was a car enthusiast who had a passion for muscle cars, but first and foremost, he enjoyed spending time with his friends and family. Gary will be sadly missed by his loving daughters, Kimberly "Kim" McEwen (Dan) of Moncton and Samantha MacKenzie of Moncton; cherished grandchildren, Tyler and Jenna McEwen; brother, Ralph "Ducker" MacKenzie (Linda) of Riverview; sister, Karen Dryden (Dale) of Windsor, ON; mother of his daughter Kimberly, Norma Collette; mother of his daughter Samantha, Melanie "Penny" MacKenzie; several nieces, nephews and extended family members. In addition to his parents, Gary was predeceased by his sister, Donna Fisher (2007). Visitation at Ferguson Knowles Funeral Home, 1657 Mountain Road, Moncton (858-1995) on Wednesday from 2:00 to 4:00 pm and 7:00 to 9:00 pm. Funeral Service to be held at Ferguson Knowles Funeral Home Chapel on Thursday, May 23, 2013 at 11:00 am with Rev. Harold MacDonald officiating. Reception following the service in the Funeral Home Reception Centre. Interment will be held at Fair Haven Memorial Gardens. In Gary’s memory, donations to the Dr. Georges- L.
