GREENVILLE - Henderson, Gary L., 70, passed away Saturday, August 3, 2013 at his home. Gary was born January 24, 1943 at New Albany, IN, to the late Edward and Ruby Green Henderson. Gary and his friend, Senie Arnold, were the proprietors of Welcome Home Carriage Services of Greenville, IN. Also preceding him in death were Senie Arnold; and a son, Gregory Henderson. Surviving are daughters, Stephanie Riggle (David) of Naples, FL, Suzanne Schmelz of Corydon, IN; seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Cremation was chosen and memorial service will be 11 a.m. Friday, August 9, 2013 at Swarens Funeral Home, 1405 Hwy 64 NW, Ramsey, IN, 47166 with interment to follow at Wolfe Cemetery, Georgetown, IN. A gathering for family and friends will be at Corydon Moose Lodge, Corydon, IN, following the interment. Visitation is 2-8 p.m. Thursday and after 9 a.m. Friday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the family in care of Swarens Funeral Home.
