GARY D. ANDERSON HAMMOND, IN Gary D. Anderson, age 60 of Hammond, passed away Friday, April 30, 2010 surrounded by his family. He is survived by his loving wife of 14 years, Leona "Bubbles"; loving children: Gary L. (Kelly) Anderson of Wheat- field, Shannon D. Anderson of Valparaiso, and Krysten A. Anderson of Wheatfield; four loving grandchildren; loving mother, Lorraine Anderson- Bateman of Highland; sisters: Sharon (Doug) Johnson of Hammond and Karen (Bob) Stewart of Wheatfield; brother, Brett (Sabriana) Anderson of Wheatfield; several nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law and best friend, Dennis Walker. Preceded in death by father, Andy Anderson. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, May 5, 2010 starting with 9:30 AM prayers at the Solan Pruzin Funeral Home, 7109 Calumet Ave., Hammond for a 10:00 AM Mass at St. John Bosco Catholic Church, 7113 Columbia Ave., Hammond with Father Richard Orlinski officiating. At rest St. John Cemetery, Hammond. Friends may visit with the family at the funeral home on Tuesday, May 4, 2010 from 2:00-8:00 PM. Prayer service, 2:30 PM. Gary was a lifelong area resident and employed at Griffith Supply. He loved camping and fishing in the Kankakee River and polishing his truck. He will be greatly missed.
