SMITH, GAIL J., 56, of Louisville, passed away January 17, 2009 at Hosparus Inpatient Unit, in Louisville. She was the former Gail Parks, a native of Cincinnati, OH and was a member of Gilda's Club and U of K Alumni Association. She was a loving and devoted mother and wife. She is survived by her husband, Ronald K. Smith; sons, Chris Combest, of Champagne, IL. and Dan Combest, of St. Louis, MO; brother, Hoyt Parks Jr. (Debbie), of Franklin, TN; sisters, Cheryl Slaughter (John), of Louisville and Donna Colón of Sedona, AZ. Her memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday, January 31, 2009 at Beargrass Christian Church, 4100 Shelbyville Rd. Visitation is 1-4 p.m. January 31, 2009 at the church.
