FINCH , Gail (nee Anderson) April 21, 1940 - July 21, 2009 Gail Finch passed away unexpectedly, but peacefully at home, in her sleep, on July 21, 2009 at the age of 69 years. She lived in Calgary all her life. Beloved wife of John for over forty years. Loving mother of Catherine and Christopher. Gail was predeceased by her parents Gordon and Effie Anderson. Gail will be remembered for her love of people and music. She played the violin and sang in several choirs over the years. She was a member of the St. Matthew's United Church Choir, The Notables women's choir, the Southern Alberta Pioneers, the Mothers Union and The P.E.O. A Memorial will be held at St. Matthew's United Church (2035 - 26A Street S.W.) today, July 28, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. A Private Family Graveside Service will take place at Eden Brook Memorial Gardens. Forward condolences through www.mcinnisandholloway.com . If friends so desire, memorial tributes in Gail's memory, may be made directly to P.E.O. Sisterhood, Chapter B, c/o 343 Parkland Way S.E., Calgary, Alberta T2J 4L1.
