Gertrude Harrington of Naples, FL formerly of Ridgewood, NJ and Larchmont, NY died peacefully on Monday, May 27, 2002. She was 88. Beloved wife of the late William T. Harrington (1985). Loving mother of William T. III, of SC, Robert J., of NY, Richard M., of VT, Mark A., of FL, Mary Tomes of TX, Jean Hediger of CO and Joyce Harrington Bahle of MI. Devoted sister of Henry, William and Jack. Cherished grandmother of 15 lovely grandchildren. Gertrude was a former member of the Ridgewood Country Club and Mt. Carmel R.C. Church, Ridgewood, NJ. She was also a former member of the Bonnie Briar Country Club and St. Augustine's R.C. Church, Larchmont, NY. Friends and family will be received on Friday, June 14 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at Van Emburgh-Sneider Funeral Home, 109 Darlington Ave., Ramsey, NJ 07446. A Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, June 15 at 10 a.m. at St. Paul R.C. Church, Ramsey. Interment will follow at Maryrest Cemetery, Mahwah, NJ.
