RAYMOND, GERALDINE E. "GERRI" age 81, of Hueytown, AL, passed away Wednesday, November 9, 2011. Gerri was a member of The Salvation Army Corps for over 60 years. She was very active in the Women Ministries and a Sunday school teacher. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles C. Raymond; her sons, Billy C. Raymond and Michael R. Raymond. She is survived by her son, Charles R. (Peggy) Raymond; her daughter, Beverly A. (James) Lawrence; seven grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren; her sisters, Carolyn (Leonard) Weaver and Janice Wilcutt. Funeral services will be held at The Salvation Army Bessemer Corps Sunday, November 13, 2011 at 1:30 p.m. with burial in Macedonia Cemetery. Major Jim Lawrence will be officiating. Visitation will be held Saturday, November 12, 2011 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Bessemer Brown Service Funeral Home.
