Gail P. Smith, age 58, of Spring Valley, died on Sunday, November 4, 2007 at Calvary Hospital in the Bronx. Mrs. Smith was born on February 25, 1949 in Congers, NY to Clyde Polhemus and Clara Drab Polhemus. She was a home maker and a very talented and creative women in every aspect. She adored her two grandchildren, Edward and Kyla. She is survived by her husband, Edward J. Smith, Sr. and also her two children, Edward J. Smith, Jr. and Lori Bell, along with her brothers, Robert, Milton, Clyde Jr., Louis and Earl Polhemus, and her sisters, Jeannette Hardy, Doris Parnell and Margaret Dutko. Gail was predeceased by her brother, Carlton and both of her parents. Gail's Family will receive friends from 3-5 PM on Friday at the Hannemann Funeral Home, Inc. in Nyack.
