Frederick W. Lawton, 76, Englewood, died Jan. 4, 2005. He was born May 30, 1928, in Baltimore, and came to the Englewood area 20 years ago. He served in the Marine Corps during the Korean War. He retired from Bethlehem Steel of Sparrows Point, Md., after 38 years. He was a charter member and past exalted ruler of Elks Lodge 2710 of Rotonda West. Survivors include his wife, Carolyn; sons Kevin and Frederick Jr., both of Glen Burnie, Md.; a sister, Romaine Presnell of Severna Park, Md.; and four grandchildren. A memorial service will be held later at the Elks Lodge in Rotonda West. Lemon Bay Funeral Home, Englewood Chapel, is in charge.
