Frederick-M. Keller, spouse of Josephine-H. Edgar, son of Jesse and Frances, father of William P, Denise and John David, died.
Frederick M. Keller Éof Billerica, Burlington, radio, TV engineer; 82 BILLERICA - Frederick M. Keller, 82, of Billerica, a former longtime Burlington resident who was an engineer for several decades in the radio and TV industry, died yesterday morning, April 6, at the Life Care Center of Merrimack Valley in Billerica after a long illness. He was the husband of the late Josephine H. (Edgar). He was born in Bridgeport, Conn., son of the late Jesse and Frances Keller. He resided in Billerica since 1991 after living in Burlington for 33 years. A World War II veteran, Mr. Keller helped protect supply ships from enemy attack during his service in the Merchant Marines. Mr. Keller worked in both radio and television, including many years on the radio show of famed Boston disc jockey Arnie "Woo Woo" Ginsberg. He was a broadcast engineer at Storrow Broadcasting and Channel 38 for 36 years and was associated with numerous other broadcasting projects and shows. He enjoyed collecting and working with model trains, and also repaired televisions for family and friends. Survivors include his children, William P. Keller and his wife Barbara of Chelmsford, and Denise C. and her husband Robert McCarthy of Billerica. He also leaves a daughter-in-law, Virginia Keller of Dracut; 10 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren. He was father of the late John David Keller.
