GODWIN FREDERICK FRANCIS PATRICK October 17, 1926 - October 20, 2008 With deepest sadness we announce the death of Frederick. Born in England, he served in the Royal Air Force and attended Cambridge University before coming to Canada in 1957. Settling in Vancouver, he served in the Royal Westminster Regiment Cadet Corps, attended UBC Law School, and was called to the bar in 1968. As a lawyer, Frederick worked tirelessly for 40 years until a few days prior to his death. He is survived by wife Lesley, children Katie and Harry, son-in-law Ken and grandson Knute, sister Mary and an extended family in England. His funeral will take place at 2 pm on Thursday, October 30th at Christ Church Cathedral, 690 Burrard St., Vancouver. No flowers please - donations may be made to the Salvation Army.
