Fred-Marion Lee, born in 1990, spouse of Dorothy Lee, father of Robert E. Lee, died on September 9, 2010 at 20 years old.
LEE, Fred Marion 75, of Land O'Lakes, passed away Sept. 9, 2010. He was a wonderful husband, father, and family man. Before moving to Land O'Lakes, Fred served as Elder of the 6000 member Princeton Pike Church of God in Hamilton, OH. He also served as Director of the more than 60 member Usher/Greeter team at that great church for more than 20 years. He served on the State of Ohio Missions Board and was the director of "Operation Love," a ministry to feeding and clothing the homeless and needy. He also was director/instructor of the "Elder Internship Program" for 10 years. At the time of his death, he was a faithful and dedicated member of Covenant Christian Church of God, Spring Hill, where he served as Elder. He was also a member of the Church and Pastor's Council, and Director of the Usher's Team. Fred was instrumental in helping supervise the building of Covenant Christian Church. He was a Missions Board Member, and a member of the Missions Team, ministering in many foreign countries, among these: Haiti, Jamaica, Mexico, Guatemala, Honduras, China, and Prince Rupert, AL. He also ministered in many mission projects in the States. His heart was in serving hurting people, and helping to make the world a better place. He leaves his wife of 32 years, Dorothy Lee; stepson and wife, Rev. Daniel and Kim Brockman, all of Land O'Lakes; 2 sons, Robert E. Lee Sr. of Winchester, IN, and Thomas D. Lee of Fishers, IN; grandchildren, Robert E. Lee Jr. (Sarah), Jeremy Lee and Michael Lee (Phoebe), Kristi Lee of Pensacola, Danielle and Joe Tredway of Land O'Lakes, Rev. John and Joslyn Brockman of Bethlehem, GA; great-grandchildren, Sophia and Ava Brockman of Bethlehem, GA, Trenton Lee of Goshen, IN, and Robert E. Lee III, of Richmond, IN; 2 sisters, Patty (Paul) of Richmond, IN, and Joanne; brother, Russell Marion Lee. The family will receive friends beginning at 6pm, with funeral services at 7pm, at Covenant Christian Church of God, 11511, U.S. Hwy. 41, in Spring Hill on Monday, Sept. 13. Fred will be laid to rest in Hamilton, OH. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Fred's name to Gulfside Regional Hospice, 5760 Dean Dairy Road, Zephyrhills, FL 33542.
