TUCKER, FRED ALLEN - age 76, of Knoxville, passed away Wednesday, December 31, 2014. He was a member of Inskip Baptist Church, a graduate of Rule High School class of '56, and retired from Evans Construction Company. He was also a longtime ball coach at Inskip-Norwood and preceded in death by his parents, Henry "Pap" and Jessie Tucker. Survivors: wife of 57 years, Jeanette Mathes Tucker; daughter and son-in-law, Vicki and Donnie Summers; son and daughter-in-law, Ricky Allen and Stephanie Tucker; grandchildren, Ashley and Mackenzi Summers, Callie Grace and Chase Allen Tucker; special aunt, Margie Tucker; and his puppy, Sophie. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to Inskip Baptist Church, 4810 Rowan Road Knoxville, TN 37912. The family will receive friends from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. Sunday at Stevens Mortuary, Oglewood Avenue at North Broadway. A funeral service will follow at 6:00 p.m. with Reverend Mike Segers officiating. The family and friends will meet 10:45 a.m., Monday, at Lynnhurst Cemetery for a graveside service and interment at 11:00 a.m. Mr. Tucker's guest book is available at www.stevensmortuaryinc.com.
