Franklin Delano Roosevelt Bishop WETUMPKA, AL-- Franklin Delano Roosevelt Bishop, 79, passed away at his home on Tuesday, May 14, 2013. Mr. Bishop was the husband of the late Louise R. Bishop and was the son of the late Elijah and Martha Bishop. Survivors include a daughter, Lena Nicholson; stepchildren, Joe Michael Ingram, Phyllis Hargis, and Mona Ann Ingram; brothers, Howard Bishop and Cleve Bishop; sisters Shirley Edmonds and Thelma Henderson; a sister-in-law, Peggy Bishop; and three grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his son Barry Bishop; two brothers, Thomas D. Bishop and William E. Bishop; and two sisters, Elizabeth Green and Jane Towery. Memorial services were 2:00 p.m., Saturday, May 18 at Gassett Funeral Home in Wetumpka, AL. Burial will be at a later date in Alabama National Cemetery, Montevallo, AL.
