LAVOIE, Francoise Devotion to family and faith, with respect for all living things, are the qualities to which Francoise Lavoie has dedicated her life until entering eternity on August 27th, 2012. Beginning with the family she was born into, on February 29, 1928, her devotion grew to include the five children to whom she gave birth, their spouses, grandchildren and their spouses and a great-grandchild. She shared her talents of cooking, gardening, sewing and volunteer work with many friends in addition to family. The Moose Jaw chapter of Right to Life was her passion for many years. She will be greatly missed, especially by her children, Giselle (Andy Airriess), Raymond (Violet), Robert (Karin), Claude (Lisa) and Clem (Karen), their father Romuald Lavoie, seven grandchildren and one recent great- grandchild. She is survived by three sisters and five brothers. Predeceased by her parents, a brother, Denis Prince and a sister, Marie Jeanne.Funeral arrangements include a vigil Wednesday, August 29 at 7:30 p.m. with the Mass of Christian Burial on Thursday, August 30, at 10:30 a.m. all at St. Andrews Catholic Church, 12720 - 111 Avenue, Edmonton. Instead of flowers, Francoise requested donations to be sent to Campaign Life Coalition, 104 Bond St. Suite 300, Toronto, Ont. M5B 1X9.
