Francis Joseph Michael O'Neill III, 71, of Monroe Township, N.J., died Wednesday, March 6, 2013, in the University Medical Center of Princeton at Plainsboro. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 9, at the Lester Memorial Home, 16 W. Church St., Jamesburg, N.J. Cremation will be private. Visiting hours for family and friends will be on Friday, March 8, from 1 to 3 and 6 to 8 p.m., and on Saturday from 10 to 11 a.m. at the funeral home. Born in Union City, N.J., Mr. O'Neill lived in Woodbridge, N.J., for many years before moving to the Concordia community in Monroe Township seven years ago. He was employed for over 30 years as a warehouse manager at B & B Best Buy Foods, Bayonne, N.J., retiring in 2003. He was also a former owner of a Blimpie restaurant in Woodbridge, N.J. Mr. O'Neill was a veteran of the U.S. Navy. He was active in the Bearcats Pop Warner Football Team, Fords, N.J., and a member of the U.S.S. Rankin Organization. He was a skeet shooter and enjoyed boating, fishing and astronomy. He loved the Atlantic City casinos and enjoyed listening to Pink Floyd. He was predeceased by his father, Francis J.M. O'Neill, and his stepfather, Bill Schropp. Surviving are his wife of 26 years, Jacquelyn Ferrara O'Neill; his two sons, Christopher and his wife, Jill, of Rock Hill, S.C. and James and his wife, Nicole, of Tampa, Fla.;, his mother, Marion Schropp of Clifton, N.J.; his two stepsons, Michael Zelicskovics and his wife, Rosine, of Jersey City, N.J., and Jack Zelicskovics of Colonia, N.J.; his sister, Cecelia Pierro of Nutley, N.J., and two grandchildren, Michael Zelicskovics IV and Mayah Rhines.
