1950 - 2013Francine L. Morin, of New York, New York, died on Saturday, April 27, 2013 at Beth Israel Medical Center. She was an artist, and loved New York City, where she lived most of her adult life. She was 62. Fran was born in Washington, D.C., and lived most of her childhood in Rockville, Maryland, and Dayton and Kettering, Ohio. She graduated as the Valedictorian of her class from Archbishop Alter High School, Kettering, Ohio, in 1968. She briefly attended Swarthmore College in Pennsylvania. Fran's parents, Armand G. and Ruth M. Morin, and Fran's youngest brother, Karl Morin, predeceased her. Fran is survived by her daughter, Rochelle Bailis, of California. She is also survived by two brothers, Thomas Morin of Hawaii, and Armand Morin (Jr.) of Massachusetts, as well as two sisters, Mary and Marie Morin of Oregon. Francine's ashes will be buried in the Gate of Heaven Catholic Cemetery in Los Altos, California. A private service will be held.
