Frances Naomi Motes Wright, 91, of Greenville, widow of Gist Walton Wright, went to be with her Lord on October 21, 2009. Born in Ga., she was a daughter of the late Allen and Mary McAllister Motes. She is survived by her daughters, Marie LaFoy and son-in-law Charles, and Margeret Smithers; granddaughter, Karen Morant; grandsons, Walter and Mark Smithers, and Steve LaFoy; and six great-grandchildren. The funeral service will be 12 p.m. on Saturday, October 24, 2009, at Praise Cathedral Church of God, 3390 Brushy Creek Road, Greer, S.C. Visitation will be prior to the service from 10:15 to 11:45 a.m. Burial will follow at Graceland Cemetery, West. The family will be at the home of Marie LaFoy, 613 S. Fishtrap Road, Greenville.
