DELAND - Frances Bernice Akins Wilson, 64, of South Adelle Avenue, who worked for 30 years with the Sherwood Medical Co., died Wednesday at home. Mrs. Wilson was born in DeLand and was a lifetime resident of this area. She was a member of Mount Zion AME Church, DeLand, where she sang in the choir and was the church treasurer. She was a 1959 graduate of Euclid High School. Survivors include three sons, Craig, DeLand, Gary, Melbourne, and Wendell, Albany, Ga.; a daughter, Vicki Wilson, Tallahassee; two brothers, Phil Akins, Jacksonville, and Paul Akins, New York; a sister, Helen Young, Sarasota; 11 grandchildren; and a great-grandchild. Mack is in charge.
