Obituary of Frances-V. Fink

June 3, 2006 Frances V. Fink, 78, of Fayetteville, died Saturday, June 3, in Crouse Hospital. Born in Herkimer, NY, and a longtime resident of Staten Island, she relocated to the Central New York area in September of 2004. Being a devoted wife, mother and grandmother, she enjoyed antiquing, collecting houseplants and cooking, and took a lot of pride in rearing her children. Fran was known for her keen sense of humor and was always quick witted even during times of illness. She made friends wherever she went and turned visits to the Dr.'s office into a social event. Fran was predeceased by her husband, John, who died in 2005 and a daughter, Chris Fink, who died in 1994. She is survived by her children, Paul Beauchamp, Wauneta Waller, Timothy Fink, Charlotte Santella, Carol Lucchese, John Fink, William Fink, Richard Hanan; her sister-in-law, Ruth Fink; 14 grandchildren. A memorial service lead by Pastor David Roppel will be held 2 p.m. Sunday, June 11, 2006, in Good Shepard Lutheran Church, Highbridge Road, Fayetteville.
