STUART, Frances Enid (nee Warner) Peacefully at Rochester, NY, on Saturday, October 12, 2002, Frances Enid (Warner) of Webster, NY in her 84th year. Beloved wife for nearly 60 years of the late Rev. James C. Stuart. The elder daughter of the late Morgan and Pearl (Wyatt) Warner. Devoted mother of Judson Morgan Stuart (Andrea) of Webster, NY, James Trevor Stuart (Elizabeth) and John Cameron Stuart (Sally), all of Auburn, NY, Ellen Elizabeth Merigold (Drew) of Hamilton, ON, Karen Frances Merino (Tom) of Skaneateles, NY and Kate Lee (Dean). Dearly loved grandmother of Megan Stuart, Rhett (Julie) Stuart, Warner Stuart, Sarah Stuart, Trevor John Stuart, Chris Stuart, Andrew Stuart, Luke (Jen) Stuart, Molly Stuart, Heather Adams, Holley (Darren) Dayman, James Stuart (Jen) Adams, Shelley Langton, Sharon Langton, Billy Marino, Tara Marino, Chris Marino, John Marino, Barton Gates, Tyler Gates and Judson Gates. Dear sister of Thyra (Dr. Graham Hudson) of Vanier and sister-in-law of Elizabeth Stuart of Osgoode, Rita (late John Stuart) of Valencia, Venezuela, Phurn (late Stevens Stuart) of Ottawa and the late Estella (late Don) McLean. Born at Russell on April 9, 1919, Frances and her sister Thyra were known for their great contribution in the Russell Music Festivals. For Frances' rendering of Danny Boy, the adjudicator remarked that the "locality was honoured to have such a remarkable voice in their midst." Frances was a 1941 graduate of the University of Toronto in Occupational Therapy and for over 50 years a helpful and devoted partner in her husband's work in Baptist Churches in Osnabruck, ON, Harwich, Ma, Concord, NH, Auburn, NY and Browncroft, Community Church of Rochester, NY. Private Interment Spring Hill Cemetery. Family and friends are invited to pay their respects at the Duncan Funeral Home, Chapel & Reception Centre, 6971 Bank Street (formerly Highway 31, between Scrivens Drive and Metcalfe Corner) after 12:30 p.m. Saturday. Funeral Saturday in the Chapel for Service at 2 p.m. Refreshments to follow. Donations to the North Baptist Christian School or the charity of your choice would be most appreciated.
