Fox, Frances Ranson, died Sunday, September 23, 2001, at her home at Reno, NV, of complications from COPD. Frances was born July 6, 1922 to Ella Lou Warner and Finny Silas Ranson, in Liberty, WV. Frances was a faithful and loyal wife to Jerry Fox for 56 years; Jerry passed away June 9, 2000. Frances moved to Reno in December of 2000 to be with her daughter Joan Henann and her grandson, Kevin Hargreaves. She moved from Deerfield Beach, FL where she had lived most of her adult life. Frances was a devoted and loving grandmother to her grandson Kevin and a generous and thoughtful mother to her daughter, Joan. She will be greatly missed. She leaves a sister, Gaynell Cottrill of Poca, WV and a sister-in-law, Barbara Malman of Long Beach, NY. She also will be greatly missed by her, faithful cat, Uno. She was with Saint Mary's Hospice since May, and I, Joan Henann, wish to express my thanks and deepest appreciation for their kindness. The visitation was at Walton's Funeral Home on Wednesday, from 12:00 PM to 2:30 PM and her burial next to husband, Jerry, was immediately following at Mountain View Cemetery with a graveside service performed by Father Kerry Crites. Funeral arrangements were the direction of Northern Nevada Memorial, 616 S. Wells, Reno, NV.
