She was born December 11, 1931 in Estancia, New Mexico to Vivian Lee and Thurman Allard.She met her one and only true love, Donald Patterson, when she was 17 years old. They married and returned to Utah where she made her home for sixty-four years. They had four children; Helen May, Larry Don, and then the twins, Danny and Debra.Frances worked in the food service business for 40 years with her partner, Donald. They had five cafes in their life together and also helped Ed & Deb with their caf&#233;. After Don passed on, Frances lived with her daughter and son-in-law, Deb and Ed, and was a huge part of their family. She loved her children, grandchildren, and her great-grandchildren. She had a special bond with her great-grandson, Joshua, aka "Little Man", She enjoyed spending time with Deb and loved taking "mini road trips", even if it was only to go to Beaver. She particularly loved the trips to Mesquite.Mom, you have blessed so many people with your love. You will truly be missed but you are now with your true love, dad. Enjoy the peace and know that you will always remain in our hearts.Frances is survived by her daughters, Debra (Ed) Smith of Cedar City, Utah and Helen (Joseph) Brunelle of Vernal, Utah; grandchildren: Lori (Steve) Coutts, Jeff (Rhonda) Humphries, Monica (Travis) Seifers, Donnie (Kristi) Patterson, Michael (Chandra) Patterson, Codi Laws, Scott (Kari) Brunelle, Charity (Donald) Elliott, Gloria Patterson, Jay D. (Amy) Patterson, and Trisha Smith; great-grandchildren: Autumn, Aspen, Dallas, Kolton, Austin, Joshua, Brianna, Morgan, Lauren, Daniel, Kyce, Evan, Joey, Dakota, Shaylee, Mikayla, Mikenzey, and Myca. She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Patterson, sons Danny Patterson and Larry Don Patterson, and great-grandson Jaden Lee Puffer Laws.A memorial service to celebrate Frances' life will be held Wednesday, January 2, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at Southern Utah Mortuary, 190 North 300 West, Cedar City, Utah.
