->Mitchell, Frances A.Frances A. Mitchell, 92, of Montrose, PA, passed away on Monday, November 7, 2011, at Meadow View Senior Living Center, after a brief illness. She was born in Bridgewater Twp., PA, to the late Clarence L. Sr., and Effie H. (Decker) Evans. Surviving are her son and daughter-in-law, Kendall and Lorraine Mitchell, Lawton, PA, daughter and son-in-law, Sally and Paul Stone, Owego, NY, 11 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, eight great-great grandchildren, two brothers and sister-in-law, Harold Evans, Auburn, NY, Clarence Jr., and Genevieve Evans, Factoryville, PA, sister, Alberta Webb, Greene, NY, additional brothers and sisters-in-law, many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband of 66 years, Bruce L. Mitchell, in 2002, son, Donald J. Mitchell in 2011, sister, Dorothy Evans, brother, Nathan Evans. Frances was a member of the Montrose United Methodist Church for 53 years. She worked at the Montrose Inn and Janner Inc., South Montrose, PA. Frances liked to play Bingo, and bake. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and had many friends. A Funeral Service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, November 12, 2011, at the Daniel K. Regan Funeral Home, Montrose, PA, with Rev. Jane M. Pykus of the Montrose United Methodist Church officiating. Interment will be in the East Bridgewater Cemetery, East Bridgewater Twp., PA. Visitations will be from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Donations in Frances' memory can be made to the Montrose United Methodist Church, 526 Church St., Montrose, PA 18801.
