WALLACE, Frances Marcia. Died at her home in West Gore, N.S., June 16, 2000 at age ninety-two. Born in Girard, Kansas, a daughter of Alfred and Nancy (Reid) Wallace, she began school in Montreal and graduated from Acadia University and Radcliffe College in 1935. She spent almost her entire career teaching botany and chemistry at The Study and Outremont High School. She is survived by her niece Nancy Doane of West Gore, nephews David, Alfred, Edwin and William Wallace and many grand and great-grand nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brother Ernest and sisters Ruth and Isabell. A memorial service was held Wednesday, June 21 at the Church of Christ (Disciples) and her ashes will be buried in West Gore Cemetery.
