Obituary of Frances-Lucille Harris


Funeral for Frances Lucille “Ganny” Harris, 91, of Moulton will be Thursday, July 14, 2005, at 11 a.m. at Parkway Funeral Home Chapel with Rich Thompson officiating. Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery. Visitation will be tonight from 6 to 8 at the funeral home. Mrs. Harris, who died Tuesday, July 12, 2005, at her residence, was born Oct. 15, 1913, in Pulaski, Tenn., to Felix and Anne Newton. She was a homemaker. Her husband, James R. Harris, preceded her in death. Survivors include one daughter, Ruby Jane Pearline Hall and husband, L.C., of Moulton; two sisters, Hattie Perry and husband, James Melton and Ola Navajo Brown, all of Decatur; one granddaughter, Francis Elaine Richardson of Decatur; many nieces and nephews, great nieces and great-nephews; and great-great-nieces and great-great-nephews.Special thanks to Hospice of the Valley, a truly wonderful organization. To Patti Hawley, the care she gave and friendship she shared, to Linda Wells for the love and time she gave to be there when needed and to Joyce James for the tears of love she shedded for us all. Pallbearers will be Chris Putnam, Jason Putnam, Tony James, Wayne James, Clifford Putnam, Charles Brown, Troy Hall, Fox Hall, Mike James and Hoy Hall. Memorials may be made to Hospice of the Valley.
