Funeral services will be 11:00AM Friday, March 28, 2014 at the Rose Hill Chapel of Hill-Watson-People's Funeral Service LLC, 2919 Hamilton Road, Columbus with Rev. James Lee officiating. Interment will follow at Green Acres Cemetery according to Hill-Watson-People's Funeral Service LLC. Visitation will be today, Thursday March 27, 2014 from 1:00PM-7:00PM at the funeral home. Mrs. King was born March 26, 1953 in Lagrange, Georgia daughter of the late Robert Lee and Jimmie Mae Brown Williams. She attended East Depot High School and joined Leete Hill United Methodist Church. She moved to Columbus where she worked 23years at Bibb Mills, 17 years at Fieldcrest Mills and 5 years at Columbus Foundry before she retired. Mrs. King leaves to cherish her memories three beloved children, John(Angela)Williams, Demetria Maddox and Klrissa Maddox; 9 grandchildren: Angela, Marteze, Quarteze, Ashley, Alicia, Tevin, Jerrico, Annkeila and Syriah; 14 great grandchildren; a sister, Renee(Steven)Smith, Riverdale, GA; a nephew, Carlos(Carlamesia)Williams; a niece, Kimberly Williams; 2 great nieces, Alexandria Joye and Brianna McCollough and a host of other relatives and many dear friends.
