Frances Lee Davis Moore COWPENS, SC-- Mrs. Frances Lee Davis Moore, 59, of 111 Pine Street, Cowpens, passed on Saturday morning, March 26, 2011, at 3:28 AM at the residence of her daughter, Ms. Patrice Moore, at 60 Willowood Drive. Daughter of the late Fred Davis, Sr. and the late Mable Smith Davis, she was a native of Cherokee County and a member of Piney Grove Baptist Church. She is survived by her daughter, Ms. Patrice Moore of Spartanburg; her son, William Moore of North Carolina; two sisters, Mrs. Patricia Harris of Gaffney and Mrs. Joyce Gibbs of Cowpens; four brothers, Bobby Davis of Roebuck, Ulysses Davis and Freddy Davis, both of Cowpens, and Joe Louis Davis of Gaffney; three grandchildren; special friend, Carrol Wells. Funeral service will be on Wednesday, March 30, 2011, at 2:00 PM at Piney Grove Missionary Baptist Church with Dr. C. D. Rector, Rev. James Armstrong, Rev. Pittman Harris, and Minister Derrick Wood officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. She will lie in state at 1:00 PM.
