Obituary of Frances-Lee Cox

COX, FRANCES LEE (HARRIS), "FANNY," of Deerfield Beach, FL, died Sunday, December 5, 2004, in Florida. "She wouldn't care for anyone to know her age, but it's safe to say that she lived long enough to marry Monroe Cox and have seven children by him." She is survived by her children, Barry Cox, Monroe Cox Jr., Gary Cox, Latonna Siers, Candy Patti, Lisa Brown and Tony Cox; her sister, Betty Sue Crawley; and her brothers, Billy and Stevie Harris. She helped raise a multitude of "spoilt-rotten" grandchildren and great-grandchildren, who also survive her. She left behind enough side-splitting tales that the family would prefer to have a celebration of her life at 11 a.m. Saturday, December 18, 2004, at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church, 13800 Aiken Rd., a church her late husband built in 1963.
