<!-- DisplayFullObituaryText -->Oct. 5, 1927 - Nov. 17, 2014 Frances Jones Smith, 87, of Youngstown, Florida passed away November 17, 2014 at Whitesburg Gardens. She was a retired registered nurse, she worked many years as a pediatric nurse in Brunswick, Georgia. Later moved back to Florida continuing to work as a nurse. She also worked many years at the Jekyll Island Authority. She loved her family and friends and she was an avid animal lover, a member of the 1st Baptist Church of Panama City, Florida, she supported local charity's through her church. She was preceded in death by her son Michael Wayne McDaniel. Mrs. Smith is survived by two daughters, Sarah M. McDougle (John) of Gurley, Alabama and Frances M. Davis (James) of Douglas, Georgia; daughter-in-law Diana M. McDaniel of Youngstown, Florida and seven grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren. Visitation will be Wednesday, November 19, 2014 from 5:00pm until 7:00pm at Berryhill Funeral Home. Funeral will be Thursday at 11:00am at Berryhill Funeral Home with Reverend Dale Capron officiating. Burial will follow Friday at Econfina Memorial Gardens in Youngstown, Florida. In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations to the Childrens Ministries of the 1st Baptist Church of Panama City, Florida. Berryhill Funeral Home is assisting the family.
