Frances J. Fox of BinghamtonFrances J. Fox, 83 of Binghamton died Saturday, June 22, 2002, at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital. She was predeceased by her husband, James, in July of 1984; and her son, Ernest, in August of 1997. She is survived by nieces, Sally A. Youngstrom, Binghamton, Susan J. Beckner-Belpulsi, Binghamton; also several other nieces and nephews and grand-nieces and grand-nephews; her closest and dear friends, Inez and Paul Mittan, Edith and Francis Fitzgerald. She was a member of Fairview United Methodist Church, a retiree of GAF with 40 years of service, and a member of the Greenman Senior Center. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the Thomas J. Shea Funeral Home, Inc., 137 Robinson St., Binghamton with her Pastor, Paul Towers, officiating. Burial will be in the Chenango Valley Cemetery. Friends are invited to call Tuesday morning from 9:30 until the time of service. In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory may be made to the Hospice Program at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, 169 Riverside Dr., Binghamton 13905.
