Obituary of Frances-Harris Carter

CARTER, Frances Harris Age 83 formerly of Nashville. November 10, 2008 at Wooddale Nursing Home in Dalton, GA. She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Carter, and great-granddaughter, Anna McCamy. She is survived by son, Ronnie (Caroline) Carter of Pleasant View, TN and daughters, Janice (Phil) McCamy and Jane Carter of Chatsworth, GA, and brother, Hale (Mary Alice) Harris of Nashville. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Jim (Heather) Carter, Amy (Keith) Whitfield, Kevin (Beth) McCamy, Matthew (Tara) McCamy, and Megan McCamy; eight great-grandchildren, and nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held at Peeples Funeral Home, 208 S 3rd Ave, Chatsworth, GA from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. (EST) on Tuesday, November 11 and again on Wednesday, November 12 at Sumach Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Chatsworth, GA, from 10 a.m. until the funeral service at 11 a.m. at the church.
