HOOK, FrancesMarch 22, 1929 – May 12, 2015The Lord opened up His arms with the northern lights dancing in the sky and welcomed Frances as His angel at the age of 86 years.Frances is lovingly remembered by her husband, William; sons, Perry (Dawn), Blaine (Joann); daughters, Shannon (Ron) Schadeck, LeAnn (Tom) Whaling; blessed with seven grandchildren, Michael (Lacey), Rebecca (Andrew), Kristina, Stephen, Connor, Vanessa, Dawson and two great- grandchildren, Liam and Cohen. Also to cherish her memory; two sisters, Mary Hanas and Stella Pankewitz; sisters-in-law, Kay Pankewicz, Kate Pankewicz, Lil Hook, Betty Papley, Millie Borys, Freida Hook, Jean Hook, Stephania Homeniuk; brothers- in-law, Larry Hook, Alex Hook; numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Frances was predeceased by her granddaughter, Kayla; parents, Steve and Jennie; five brothers, Mike, Wasyl, Fred, John and Pete; one sister, Anne; two sisters-in-law, Heather Pankewicz and Helen Hook; four brothers- in-law, Andrew Lickacz, Walter Hanas, Ralph Hook and George Hook.The family wishes to extend their gratitude to our extended family for all of their support during this time and to the staff members of Unit 21 and 22 at the Leduc Hospital for their compassionate support.Prayers Friday, May 15 at 5:00 p.m. at St. Basil''s Ukrainian Catholic Church, 7007 – 109 Street, Edmonton.Divine Liturgy Saturday, May 16 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Basil''s Ukrainian Catholic Church.
