Frances Gibbs Hooks Frances Gibbs Hooks, 91, a retired domestic worker, died Sunday, May 18, 2003, in Daytona Beach. The service will be at noon EDT Saturday at Gethsemane Missionary Baptist Church in Tallahassee, with burial at Southside Cemetery. Family will assemble for the funeral at 11 a.m. EDT Saturday at Strong & Jones Funeral Home (224-2139).A native of Monticello, she moved to Tallahassee in 1952. She was a member of Mount Mariah Church of God in Unity, where she served on the mothers board. She is survived by two daughters, Martha Rogers (and husband Arzy) of Tallahassee and Carrie Walker (and husband S.W.); two sons, George Hooks (and wife Carol) and Anthony Hooks (and wife Cynthia); 14 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.She was preceded in death by her husband, Martin Hooks, and a daughter, Naomi Hooks.
