Frances Florene "Granny" Fox passed away on Sunday, September 16. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Martin "Papa" Fox; three sisters, Dorothy Moates, Inez Marshall, Silvia Cantu; two brothers, Theodore Sketoe, Coolidge Sketoe. She is survived by one brother, Robert (Jane) Sketoe; and numerous nieces and nephews. Granny Fox touched many lives through her service as a nursery worker at Calvary Baptist Church and as an aunt, great aunt, and great-great aunt. Her very favorite things to do were rocking babies, fishing, cooking for friends and family, and in recent years, spending time with her faithful little canine sidekick, Louie. The family received visitors Tuesday night from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. at Prattville Memorial Chapel. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, September 19, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. from Calvary Baptist Church in Prattville with Winston Brooks officiating. Burial will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery.
