BINKLEY, Frances Elizabeth 2008-12-10 It is with great sadness that we must announce the passing of Mother, grandmother and great grandmother Frances Binkley. Aged 90 years, she passed peacefully at Geraldton District Hospital, with her family by her side, on Saturday, December 06 2008. Born Frances Elizabeth Williams, near Pennant Saskatchewan in 1918, she married Harold Binkley in 1942 and moved to Ontario in 1958 where she and Harold owned and operated Pasha Lake Cabins for many years. They then moved to Jellicoe and enjoyed their golden years travelling across Canada and the U.S., gardening and simply taking pleasure in the company of friends and loved ones. Frances favorite hobbies included cooking and knitting, crafting, word puzzles, playing cards and taking care of her herb garden. Frances is survived by her sister Margaret, of Vernon B.C., two sons, Robert (Rena) Binkley and Gordon (Linda) Binkley, Four grandchildren and six great grandchildren. She is predeceased by her husband Harold and Grandson Robert. Cremation has taken place. A celebration of this lovely lady‘s life will be held on Saturday, December 13 2008 at Neil Arthur Memorial Hall in Jellicoe at 2:00 p.m. with coffee and snacks being served there afterwards. Interment will be determined by her family at a later date. If friends desire, donations may be made to Tamarack House Medical Center, Suite 501, 984 Oliver Road, Thunder Bay, Ontario P7B 7C7.
