Obituary of Frances-Elizabeth Cox

Frances Elizabeth (Stallings) Cox of Springfield, Mo., died Tuesday morning, March 3, 2009, in Cox South Hospital. Mrs. Cox was 80 years old, a former LPN and a great lover of dogs, especially her beagles. Mrs. Cox is survived by two brothers, Lloyd Stallings and Sherman Stallings; in addition to nine children, Joe Louis, Gail Lloyd, Brenda Frances, Linda Louise, Cheryl Jean, Wendeline Kay, Mark Lindsay, Jeffrey Lynn and Mary Elizabeth; as well as many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Thursday, March 5, 2009, from 6 to 8 p.m., in Greenlawn Funeral Home North. Funeral services will be held Friday, March 6, 2009, at 1 p.m., in Greenlawn Funeral Home North. Following the service, burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens.
