Frances Elizabeth (Sally) Carroll, 81, Ozark, Missouri, passed away August 15, 2010, in Springfield. A lifelong resident of Christian County, Sally was active in many charitable organizations throughout her life, always doing good for others. She was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, H. B. She is survived by two sons, Steve and Doug; three brothers, Dewey, Bill and Duke Applegate; three grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter. Graveside services will be held in Old Boston Cemetery, Oldfield, Thursday, August 19, at 10 a.m.In lieu of flowers, family requests donations to be made to Christian County Animal Shelter, Ozark, Missouri (417)581-5008.
