Frances Earline Pitts Edwards, 77, of 101 Paris St., died April 14, 2005, at Allen Bennett Hospital.A native of Spartanburg County, daughter of the late Fred Earl and Willie Mae Hayes Pitts, she was a retired employee of Startex Mill and was a member of Franklin Baptist Church.Surviving are a son and daughter-in-law, Ricky and Donna Edwards of Lyman; two daughters and son-in-law, Ruby and John Kellett and Shirley Ann Bridges, all of Greer; a brother, Frank Pitts of Greer; a sister, Linda Faye Cason of Greer; eight grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.Ms. Edwards was predeceased by two sons, Freddie Edwards and James Edwards.Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Sunday at the Wood Mortuary, conducted by Rev. Malcolm Lance and Rev. T.J. Horton. Burial will follow in Hillcrest Memorial Gardens.Pallbearers will be Tim Kellett, Clay Bridges, Scott Edwards, Lynn Center, Joey Henderson, and Dustin Taylor.Visitation will be held from 7 to 8:30 p.m. this evening at the Wood Mortuary.The family is at the home of Ruby Kellett, 505 Maplewood Court, Greer.
