Frances "Faye" Edwards, 87, of 214 Tindal Road, Greenville, died Tuesday, Dec. 28, 2004.Born in Greenville, she was the daughter of the late Arthur and Dora Cobb. She was the wife of the late Rev. Joseph C. Edwards.She was a homemaker and devoted wife and mother. She enjoyed reading the Bible, newspaper and magazines. She was a member of King Mountain Gospel Assembly Church.Surviving are four daughters, Joann McCarter of Landrum, Brenda J. Whitworth of Greenville, Betty Shelnutt of Powdersville and April Edwards of Greenville; two sons, Daniel Edwards of Greenville and Stephen Edwards of Gastonia, N.C.; fourteen grandchildren; and seventeen great-grandchildren. Mrs. Edwards was preceded in death by a daughter, Carol Whitehead.Services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at Woodlawn Funeral Home Chapel, with burial to follow in the Woodlawn Memorial Park.The family will receive friends tonight at Woodlawn Funeral Home from 7 to 9 p.m. Woodlawn Funeral Home
