Frances Murphy passed away peacefully at home with her daughters by her side. Family Beloved wife of the late James W. Murphy, Sr. Loving mother of James W. Murphy, Jr., Elizabeth A. (Joseph) Ward and Kathleen Murphy. Cherished grandmother to Barbara-Lynn (Donald) Creamer, James Ward and Joseph (Shawna) Ward and great grandmother to Adriane, Stephanie, Scott, Natalie, little Emily and baby Tyler. Dear sister of the late Genevieve McGraw, Edmund and Mary Collins. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. Frances is also survived by her friend of 30 years, Ginny Miller. Legacy Born in Philadelphia on January 12, 1920 to Francis X. and Elizabeth (Winterle) Collins, Frances married James in 1942 and settled in Sewell, NJ to raise their family. She continued to live in Sewell for over 30 years working for Mantua Metal (Tyco), retiring from CBS Records in Pitman. She moved to Magnolia, NJ in 1983. She spent her retirement years traveling and volunteering with various organizations. An avid gardener, Frances was most proud of the beautiful African Violets blooming in her sunroom. She took great pride in her home and gardens and enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. Frances was always quick to laugh and always smiling, even when she was too ill to speak.
