Frances Duncan Jennings, 96, went home to join her Heavenly family on March 24, 2012. She passed away at home surrounded by her family.She was born on November 7, 1915, in Moultrie, Ga., and moved to Panama City in 1935. She is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Ellen and Bill Rumph, of Panama City, and Claire and Chris Calohan, of Lynn Haven; grandchildren, Eric and Debbie Rumph, of Alexandria, Va., Jennifer and Bill Blanks, of Lynn Haven, Allyson and Vincent Connor, of Marietta, Ga., and Matthew Calohan, of Ft. Wayne, Ind.; six great-grandchildren, Katie, Lauren, and McKenna Blanks, Abbey and Jacob Rumph, and Braeden Connor. She is also survived by her sisters-in-law, Margaret, Evelyn, and Ada Duncan.She was preceded in death by her husband, William H. (Wilkie) Jennings Jr., her parents, J.T. Duncan, Sr. and Bobbie McClung Duncan, her sisters, Marjorie (Bill) McQuagge, Louise and Eularee Duncan, and her brothers, Lester, Rignal, J.T. Jr., Bob, Joe and Jack Duncan. Frances was a member of Wallace Memorial Presbyterian Church for many years, where she was active in the Women of the Church, receiving the Honorary Life Membership Award in 1961. She taught the 3-year-old Sunday School class for over 20 years. She was a charter member of Grace Presbyterian Church and was involved with Presbyterian Women, Bible Study and Grace Crafters. She was a voracious reader and enjoyed doing her daily crossword puzzle in ink. She also enjoyed playing all types of card games and loved to lead a lively, competitive game of Tripoley with her family. She was also an avid bridge player and belonged to several bridge groups. She was a member of the Postal Auxiliary for many years. The family will receive friends on Thursday, March 29, from 5 - 7 p.m. at Wilson Funeral Home. A celebration of her life will be held on Friday, March 30 at 2 p.m. at Grace Presbyterian Church, 1415 Airport Road, with the Rev. Dr. Jim Black officiating. Interment will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery. The family would like to thank Emerald Coast Hospice, especially Charlotte, Tina and Gayle, for the wonderful care Frances received during her last months of life.
