Frances Curry "Jim" Murphy, 85, Bradenton, died June 6, 2004. She was born May 22, 1919, in Bradenton and was a lifelong resident. She retired as a legal secretary. She was a member of the Entre Nous Club and volunteered at the Community Thrift Shop. She was a 1937 graduate of Bradenton High School and a graduate of the Eastman School of Business in New York City. She was a lifelong member of First United Methodist Church, Bradenton. Survivors include a sister, Colleen M. Zoller of Bradenton; several nieces and nephews, including Katherine Murphy of Palmetto and William C. Zoller of Sarasota; and two cousins. The memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Friday at First United Methodist Church, Bradenton. Shannon Funeral Home, Town Chapel, is in charge.
