Obituary of Frances-C. Mitchell

Frances C. Mitchell of Greene Frances C. Mitchell, 83, passed away on Friday, December 6, 2002, at Wilson Memorial Hospital in Johnson City. She was predeceased by her husband, Lloyd D. Mitchell, one sister, Elizabeth, and two brothers, Stanley Vernon. She is survived by son and daughter-in-law, Dale and Carol Harrison of Alabama and their children, John, Shelly, Shannon, Alicia and Angela; nine great-grandchildren; sister, Florence W. Lewis, Oxford; brother, Harry Williams, Binghamton; nieces and nephews, Robert, Carol, William, John, Sandra, James, Sharon, Robert, Linda, Leslie and Jimmy; and many great nieces and nephews. Frances was a loving mother, grandmother and aunt. Funeral and commital services will be held 11:00 a.m. Tuesday at the Root Funeral Home with Reverand John Pooler, Pastor of Central Baptist Church, Greene, officiating. Friends of the family may call Tuesday from 10 to 11 a.m. at the Root Funeral Home, 23 North Chenango St., Greene.
