Floyd G. Smith Sr. of Cobalt died at the Temiskaming Hospital on March 29, 2006 at the age of 76. Predeceased by his parents Noble and Mary-Ann Smith, daughter Glenda and son Floyd Jr., Mr. Smith is survived by his loving wife Laurette (nee Coté); children Carol, Gordon, Fred, Dennis, Terry, Linda, James and Marc; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. In keeping with Mr. Smith’s wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral service. Memorial contributions to the Canadian Cancer Society will be gratefully acknowledged by the family.
