Floyd E. Moore, 95, died Sept. 3, 2011. He was born in Stony Bottom, W.Va., and lived in Sebring since 2003, coming from Arcadia and Stuart. He was a truck driver for Florida Power & Light Co. He was a veteran of World War II, serving in the Army. He was a member of St. John United Methodist Church. Survivors include his daughter, Judy Brown of Sebring; son, Kenneth Moore of New Castle, U.K.; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Maydelle Moore; five brothers; and two sisters. Memorial contributions may be made to Good Shepherd Hospice, 1110 Hammock Road, Sebring, FL 33870. Services: Visitation will be at 11 a.m. Sept. 10 followed by services at noon at Stephenson-Nelson Funeral Home, Sebring, with the Rev. Ron DeGenaro Jr. officiating.
