MARTIN, FLORENCETHELMA, of Louisville, passed away Tuesday, December 7, 2004, in Memphis, TN. She was the former Florence Underwood, a 50-year member of the Order of the Eastern Star Louisville Chapter #391. She was preceded in death by her husband of 48 years, Leslie Martin, and her parents, Jess and Bertha Underwood. She is survived by a nephew, James Henry Kennedy Sr., and nieces, Billie Ann Kennedy and Patsy Lee Kennedy, all of Memphis, TN. She is also survived by a niece, Mary Elizabeth Kennedy who cared for her. Mrs. Martin's funeral will be held at noon Friday at the Southern Home of Arch L. Heady & Son, 3601 Taylor Blvd., with burial in Louisville Memorial Gardens-West. Visitation will be from 5-9 p.m. Thursday.
