CARTER, Florence Terry Age 99 of the Watervale Community. December 7, 2008 at Summit Medical Center; the last surviving of six children of the late Will & Georgia Henry Boulton Denton. Preceded in death on February 16, 1989 by husband of twenty eight years, retired Carthage barber, Willie Haskell "Bill" Carter; also preceded in death by five siblings, Mattie Manning, Sam, Jim Dave, Thomas & Nelson Denton. Survived by son, James W. Terry & wife Joyce of Antioch; grandson, Keith Terry of Nashville. Services 1 p.m. Tuesday, Carthage Chapel of Sanderson Funeral Home with Eld. Charles Allen Gentry officiating. Pallbearers, family & friends. Interment, Smith County Memorial Gardens.
