Obituary of Florence Sauve


MANCHESTER -- Florence (Tetreault) (Provost) Sauve, 94, died Sept. 15, 2009, at Hanover Hill Healthcare Center after a brief illness. She was born in Whitefield, Nov. 26, 1914, to Ralph and Delina (Bois) Tetreault. She lived in Manchester most of her life. Her first husband, Leo Provost, was a well known architect in Manchester. He died in 1967. Her second husband, George Sauve, died in 1976. IN HER LIFE: The family includes two children, Carol A. Hurley and her husband, Dr. John Hurley, of Manchester, and Richard L. Provost and his wife, Alina Provost, of Nellysford, Va.; two stepchildren, Paulette Snow of North Carolina, and Anne Sauve of Kittery Point, Maine; five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; one step-grandchild; two step-great-grandchildren; a sister, Isabelle Fitzpatrick of Hooksett; and many nieces and nephews. SERVICES: There are no calling hours. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. at St. Catherine Church, corner of Webster and Hemlock streets, Manchester. Committal prayers will follow at Mount Calvary Mausoleum, 474 Goffstown Road, Manchester. Memorial donations may be made to New Hampshire Association for the Blind, McGreal Sight Center, 25 Walker St., Concord 03301 Lambert Funeral Home & Crematory, Manchester is assisting the family with arrangements (www.lambertfuneralhome.com.
