She was born September 28, 1923, the daughter of Joseph and Florence May Harmon in Yonkers, NY. Florence was a Yonkers resident until 2006. She was a Dental Assistant/Office Manager for many years in Yonkers. She was an active member of the Saint John's Episcopal Church in Getty Square, where she was a choir member, Sunday school teacher and vestrymen, while participating in all church activities and functions. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary Post of New York. Florence enjoyed reading and was an avid Mets fan. She is survived by her son William and his wife Wendy along with her grandson Billy. She was predeceased by her son, Kenneth H. Linehan and her brother Joseph Harmon. Funeral Services will be held Thursday, April 9, 2015 10 am at St. John's Episcopal Church (Getty Square) followed by interment at Oakland Cemetery in Yonkers.
